Healthcare Onsite Training Courses Ireland
CPD-certified on-site training courses delivered at your facility by experienced instructors. Fire safety, evacuation, manual handling, first aid, and health & safety - tailored for nursing homes, hospitals, and healthcare settings across Ireland.

Onsite Training for Nursing Homes and Healthcare Settings
Phoenix STS delivers onsite training for nursing homes, hospitals, clinics and day centres across Ireland. Courses cover fire safety, evacuation equipment, people moving and handling, first aid and health and safety. Instructors travel to your facility, so staff train in the building they work in, using your own equipment and procedures.
Fire precautions in designated centres are set by Regulation 28 of S.I. No. 415 of 2013. The regulation requires registered providers to use fire safety management, staff training programmes and fire drills so that staff know what to do in a fire. In plain terms, a designated centre must train its staff and be able to show the records at inspection.
The training is practical. Healthcare fire safety training is 80% hands-on, and evacuation equipment training is fully practical, using ski sheets, ski pads and rescue manikins. Phoenix STS is a CPD Standards Office accredited provider, and the Heartsaver AED course is certified by the Irish Heart Foundation and the American Heart Association.
To book, send an enquiry through our contact page or call 043 334 9611 with your facility type, staff numbers and the courses you need. Employees in the private healthcare sector may be eligible for subsidised training through LHP Skillnet.
