About This Course

This IATP-accredited course goes beyond standard asbestos awareness training, providing detailed coverage of the three main types of asbestos (chrysotile, amosite, and crocidolite), their properties, and where they are most commonly found in buildings constructed before 2000.

Learners will understand the health effects of asbestos exposure, the legal duty to manage asbestos in non-domestic premises, how to interpret asbestos register information and survey reports, and the procedures to follow if asbestos-containing materials are accidentally disturbed.
