Current legislation, including the Fire Services Acts 1981 and 2003, applies to all workplaces regardless of the number of employees and requires employers to provide adequate training in fire awareness for all members of their staff. It is a legal obligation that workplaces must have a sufficient number of fire marshals to deal with fire emergencies. This course provides extensive knowledge of fire prevention, evacuation protocol and using fire extinguishers.

The course covers fire chemistry, causes, prevention, safety features in buildings, evacuation, fire-warden duties and extinguisher use. It is intended for employees with a fire-warden or fire-marshal role. Modules 1 to 15 require 70%; Using a Fire Extinguisher requires 100%. Certificate and completion evidence

After successful completion of the course and assessment, the online course platform issues a certificate. It identifies Phoenix STS Ltd as the issuer and records the learner's name, course title, award date and a validation code. The certificate records 5 CPD units. The certificate carries CPD, IIRSM, Gatehouse Awards and Institute of Hospitality approval marks.
