Environmental and sustainability policy
Phoenix STS will consider environmental and sustainability impacts in proportion to its activities, scale and influence. This policy covers practical considerations in travel, premises, equipment, purchasing, waste and service planning.
Practical commitments
- Reduce unnecessary travel through planning, route coordination and remote meetings where appropriate.
- Maintain vehicles and driving controls to reduce avoidable fuel use and safety risk.
- Purchase durable, safe and suitable training equipment.
- Dispose of waste, batteries, electronics and equipment responsibly.
- Use electronic records where they improve control, access and waste reduction, while maintaining data security.
- Consider relevant client or regulator sustainability requirements during customer requirement review and supplier selection.
Planning and review
Environmental and climate-related factors should be considered where they affect operations, customer requirements, safety, travel, venues, supplies, equipment or business continuity. Material issues and actions should be recorded and reviewed through the relevant management arrangements.
Use reasonable controls for heating, lighting and equipment in offices and training spaces. Managers and service owners should consider environmental requirements when planning delivery and purchasing suitable equipment.
Claims and evidence
Environmental statements in marketing, tenders and client information must reflect actual controls and available evidence. This policy does not claim ISO 14001 certification, carbon neutrality or a verified reduction in emissions.
Where environmental evidence is requested, Phoenix STS should provide the relevant policy, review, action or supplier documentation that is available. No quantified environmental achievement is implied by a policy commitment.
