Irish Legislative Context

Irish Equivalent: In Ireland, the sale of alcohol is governed by the Intoxicating Liquor Acts 1927 - 2008 and the Registration of Clubs Acts. Licences are granted by the District Court. Ireland does not use the UK concepts of 'Personal Licences' or 'four licensing objectives'. The Irish system requires a court-granted licence for each premises.
