Nursing Home Group Fire and Emergency Management System 7

Fire Safety & Emergency Management Documents with Staff Training for a Nursing Home Groups

This system is designed for nursing home groups to fully comply with all fire safety and emergency management requirements by having appropriate documented procedures outlined. We review your current arrangements and integrate existing procedures or, where necessary, introduce new arrangements to ensure your fire safety and emergency management documentation, including evacuation plans, are up to date and compliant with current legislation.

System 7 allows your nursing home to comply with all fire safety and emergency management requirements while ensuring that emergency responders will have access to crucial information such as entry points, access routes, & fire hydrant locations before arriving at your facility.

The system also includes Nursing Home Fire Safety Management training and our Nursing Home Fire Safety Procedures Course, which equips your staff with the information and skills they need to react swiftly and efficiently in the case of a fire in a nursing facility. This course is 80 per cent practical and is intended for all nursing home staff members. It covers various procedures, such as the safe use of evacuation aids and portable fire extinguishers, and is meant for all nursing home employees.

Learning is evaluated independently of the training course by performing timed fire drills to demonstrate compliance with HIQA standards for staff training and assessment while participating in fire drills.

The yearly PAS 79-2020 Fire Risk Assessment is included as an extra feature in system three from January 2021.
