This Level 2 Food Safety – Catering Course ensures that any delegates working in an environment where food is prepared, cooked or handled, comply with current UK legislation.
Current food safety legislation states that any staff who handle food working in organisations such as restaurants, cafes, takeaways, public houses, or even school canteens, care homes and nursing homes, should have appropriate food safety training at Level 2
Our Level 2 Food Safety – Catering Course builds upon and reinforces the knowledge gained in our Level 1 course. Topics include premises hygiene, personal hygiene, risk control, pest control and waste management.
The Food Safety Act 1990, and Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2005 requires food businesses to ensure that food handlers are supervised, instructed and trained in food hygiene and food safety in a way that is appropriate to the work they do and enables them to handle food safely and hygienically.
