CDM Awareness

This awareness course covers the core concepts of the regulations and details the various roles that are required for a construction project along with the key documents that need to be produced. It starts with an introduction to CDM, then covers some of the parameters that need to be checked when a project is being planned. It finishes by detailing a number of example projects that illustrate how the regulations can be applied.

This awareness course on Construction Design Management provides an introduction to the Irish Safety Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013 and the UK Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and the requirements for operating safe construction sites.  The course explores the various aspects of health and safety throughout the project from start to end.  This includes considerations during the planning phase through the site delivery and at completion.  Attendees will benefit from a full awareness of their statutory responsibilities and the learning from an exploration of the practical implementation of the regulations via the consideration of case studies demonstrating their real-world application.
